Overview:

As an Amazon Listing Optimization Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in maximizing the visibility, sales, and overall performance of products on the Amazon platform. Your expertise in keyword research, content optimization, and data analysis will drive enhanced product discoverability, conversion rates, and revenue growth for our e-commerce business.

Responsibilities:

1. Keyword Research: Conduct thorough keyword research to identify high-traffic, relevant keywords for product listings. Utilize tools such as Helium 10, or Jungle Scout to discover and prioritize keywords based on search volume, competition, and relevance.

2. Content Optimization: Optimize product titles, bullet points, product descriptions, and backend search terms to maximize keyword relevance and improve search ranking. Craft compelling and informative content that highlights product features, benefits, and unique selling points while adhering to Amazon's guidelines and best practices.

3. Image Optimization: Collaborate with the creative team to ensure product images meet Amazon's requirements and effectively showcase the product's features. Optimize image titles, alt text, and file names to enhance visibility and user experience.

4. Competitor Analysis: Conduct competitive analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement in product listings. Monitor competitor strategies, pricing, and keywords to stay ahead of market trends and adjust optimization strategies accordingly.

5. Performance Tracking: Utilize Amazon Seller Central and third-party analytics tools to monitor key performance metrics such as traffic, conversion rates, click-through rates, and sales. Analyze data to identify trends, insights, and areas for optimization.

6. A/B Testing: Plan and execute A/B tests to optimize product titles, images, and descriptions. Analyze test results to determine the most effective strategies for improving conversion rates and sales performance.

7. Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about Amazon's algorithm updates, policy changes, and best practices for product listing optimization. Proactively seek out opportunities to enhance product listings and drive incremental improvements in search ranking, visibility, and sales.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

2. Proven experience in e-commerce, preferably in Amazon marketplace optimization.

3. Strong understanding of Amazon's search algorithm and ranking factors.

4. Proficiency in keyword research tools such as Helium 10, Jungle Scout or any other search tools.

5. Excellent written communication skills with the ability to craft persuasive and engaging product content.

6. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions.

7. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality in all aspects of listing optimization.

8. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

9. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with creative, marketing, and product teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Certification in Amazon Advertising or Amazon Seller Central.

2. Experience with Amazon Enhanced Brand Content (EBC) or A+ Content.

3. Familiarity with HTML and CSS for basic formatting in Amazon listings.

4. Experience with Amazon Sponsored Products or Amazon Advertising campaigns.

5. Knowledge of other e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, eBay, or Walmart Marketplace.
