We are currently looking for an Part-Time or even Full-Time Business Development Assistant who can find and develop long-lasting partnerships within the Value Added Reseller Community though cold calling to join our Approved Micro Sales team. Someone that can work 18-24 hours a week 3-4 days a week on a 6 hour schedule or up to 40 hours per week. Potential for more hours as well down the line.

Position Summary:

Business Development Assistant knows how to build on existing relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and providing outstanding customer satisfaction. Communicating directly with clients and prospects, requires you to have a solid understanding of their needs and recommend products that maximize value.

Responsibilities include:

  • This role will mainly be doing customer outreach cold calling and networking.
  • Build and maintain lasting relationships with clients and partners.
  • Provide support for clients by learning about and satisfying their needs.
  • Ensure all sales orders and customer service are managed in a timely manner.
  • Success in business development and customer outreach including cold calling and networking.
  • Building long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with external contacts and internal departments to create a better customer experience.
  • Maintain a database of clients, prospects, partners and vendors.

Requirements:

  • Comfortable cold-calling and developing relationships on the phone. 
  • Naturally gifted in story telling and closing deals. 
  • Comprehensive and current knowledge of company offerings and IT Hardware industry trends.
  • A book of business of clients that would benefit from Approved Micro products is a plus.
  • The drive and energy to manage multiple accounts while looking for new opportunities.
  • Ability to understand client needs and manage the negotiation process.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Experience working with Hubspot or similar CRM.
