Entry-Level Associate Product Manager

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join our team as a Product Retail Associate. This entry-level role is perfect for recent college graduates or experienced retail store managers looking to embark on a rewarding career in a corporate environment. As an Associate, you will collaborate with our existing and new vendors to develop product roadmaps that cater to target categories and customers. You will play a vital role in the reconciliation and analysis of pre and post sales activities.

Duties Include:

  • Support the strategic sourcing and manufacturing plans, objectives, and financial goals of our organization.
  • Collaborate in the evaluation, design, and development of sourcing capabilities, while striving to enhance product quality and scale the sourcing business.
  • Contribute to the continuous innovation of product development guidelines, standard practices, and tools, ensuring industry-leading time to market for new products.
  • Foster strong relationships with external suppliers, ensuring they meet our high operating and quality standards.
  • Assist in managing product roadmaps and effectively navigate lifecycle transitions.
  • Contribute to the expansion of our product assortment in target categories.
  • Work closely with our team to develop comprehensive go-to-market strategies for distribution.
  • Engage in the development of long-term campaigns aimed at building our brand presence.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for our distribution partners, reconciling transactions, identifying trends, and taking appropriate actions.
  • Collaborate with the director to develop and innovate product development guidelines, practices, and tools to ensure our organization stays ahead in the fast-paced tech industry.
  • Cultivate relationships with external suppliers, while maintaining high standards of operation and product quality.
  • Conduct analysis of supply market data and make recommendations on suppliers and vendors.
  • Play a pivotal role in managing product roadmaps and effectively addressing lifecycle transitions.
  • Keep a finger on the pulse of market shifts, product transitions, and changes in consumer behavior.
  • Assist in the creation and execution of go-to-market strategies for distribution and e-commerce.
  • Take the lead in preparing and executing medium to high complexity strategic sourcing transactions, negotiations, and supplier selection for products and services.
 

Qualifications:

 
  • The drive and determination to get better every day. 
  • Strong work ethic and desire to be the best.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent retail work experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office products including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with IT Hardware products is a plus.
  • Experience in any of the following categories: category management, product management, retail management are lines of work that would align.
  • Retail Management Experience is a plus.
  • Must be open to working onsite in a hybrid model.
  • Daily onsite training will be required for the first few months.
